StackMaker
Terms of service
These terms govern your use of StackMaker and purchases of custom printed products. By using the service or placing an order, you agree to them. Last updated: August 22, 2026.
Using StackMaker
You must be able to enter into a binding contract where you live. If you use StackMaker on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account or anonymous browser session.
You may design and order without an account. Drafts are currently stored in your browser, so clearing browser data or changing devices may remove them. Keep your own copy of anything you need to preserve.
Your designs and acceptable use
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You give StackMaker and its printing, fulfilment, storage, and technology providers a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, modify for technical production needs, and print that content only as needed to operate the service, fulfil your orders, and provide support.
You must not use StackMaker to create, upload, or order content that:
- infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, exploitative, or promotes illegal activity;
- contains malware or attempts to disrupt, probe, or misuse the service; or
- violates rules communicated by a payment, printing, or fulfilment partner.
You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for your content. We may refuse or cancel content or orders that we reasonably believe violate these terms or the law. If we cancel an order before it is fulfilled, any refund will be limited to the amount paid for the unfulfilled product, except as otherwise required by law.
AI-assisted features
Optional AI features may produce inaccurate, unexpected, or similar-to-existing content. You are responsible for reviewing generated content and confirming that it is suitable and lawful before using or ordering it. We do not promise that generated content is unique or that intellectual property rights will be available in it.
Products and design approval
Our products are made to your specifications. Before ordering, check every side of every card, spelling, image placement, quantity, size, and shipping detail. The preview is a useful approximation, but screen colours, cropping, alignment, finish, material, and other characteristics may vary within reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Product images are illustrative unless we expressly say otherwise.
We may make minor changes needed for production or legal compliance that do not materially reduce the product’s quality or function. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we may cancel the affected product and refund no more than the amount paid for it, except as otherwise required by law.
Orders, prices, and payment
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement of your order is not acceptance. We may accept an order by expressly confirming acceptance or beginning production, and may reject or cancel it before then for any lawful reason, including payment, availability, production, sanctions, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error, or another legal restriction.
The checkout shows the price, currency, shipping charge, and taxes we collect before you pay. You authorise our payment provider to charge the displayed total. Prices can change before you order. You are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, or local taxes not collected at checkout.
Production, shipping, and delivery
Production and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. International orders may be delayed by carriers or customs. You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, deliverable address and for complying with import rules in the destination country. Ownership and risk transfer as stated at checkout and as required by applicable law.
If a shipment is delayed, lost, returned, or marked delivered but missing, you may contact us to request available assistance. We do not guarantee recovery, replacement, or a particular outcome. Extra costs caused by an incorrect address, refusal to pay import charges, or failure to collect a shipment may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.
Changes, cancellations, returns, and problems
Because products are made to your specifications, all sales are final once accepted: we do not offer changes, cancellations, or change-of-mind returns except where we choose to do so or applicable law requires it. You may ask to cancel before production, but a request is not effective unless we confirm it. This does not limit a cancellation or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded.
Inspect your order when it arrives. To make a claim, contact us within the time required by applicable law and provide the order details, proof of purchase, and evidence we reasonably request, such as clear photographs. Any repair, replacement, reprint, refund, or other remedy is limited to what applicable law requires or we expressly agree to provide. Nothing in these terms excludes a mandatory warranty, guarantee, refund, or other consumer right in your country.
Service availability and third parties
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. StackMaker relies on third-party services for functions such as AI, payments, hosting, printing, and delivery. Their separate terms may apply to services you use directly. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or maintenance.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackMaker is provided “as is” and “as available,” and we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from consumer use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a product order or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific order or service giving rise to the claim. We have no monetary liability arising only from free use of the service. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
Changes, law, and disputes
We may update these terms prospectively as the service or law changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Changes will not retroactively alter an accepted order. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
The laws and courts of the place where the operator of StackMaker is established govern these terms and disputes, without taking away any mandatory protection or right to bring proceedings available to you as a consumer where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
