StackMaker
Privacy notice
This notice explains what StackMaker collects, why we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated: August 15, 2026.
Information we collect
When you use StackMaker, we may collect the information you provide: account email and password credentials, deck names and card content, uploaded or generated artwork, and checkout details such as your name, email, shipping address, and order information.
Decks are currently saved in your browser’s local storage. We also use a signed, httpOnly session cookie for anonymous sessions and account cookies when you sign in. The cookie identifies a session; it does not contain your deck content.
If analytics is enabled for this deployment, we collect limited product events and technical information such as browser and page activity. We remove customer-entered text, card content, shipping details, and order numbers from analytics events.
How we use information
Depending on the context, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, comply with legal requirements, or with your consent where consent is required.
- To provide the editor, assistant, artwork generation, account, and ordering features.
- To process payments, print and fulfill orders, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- To understand and improve the product, where analytics is enabled.
- To meet legal, accounting, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.
When information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate StackMaker: with our hosting and infrastructure providers, authentication provider, analytics provider when enabled, AI providers when you request AI features, payment processor, and printing and fulfillment partners. These providers process information for the services they provide and may operate in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer.
Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor; StackMaker does not store full card numbers. Do not submit sensitive personal information in deck text, artwork, or assistant prompts.
Retention and your choices
Browser-saved decks remain until you delete them or clear your browser storage. Anonymous operation records are temporary and are normally kept for up to 24 hours. We keep account, order, payment, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations. Generated artwork may remain in our asset storage for as long as needed to deliver or support an order.
You can delete local decks from the dashboard, choose not to use optional AI features, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained by law. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, portability, or to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections and httpOnly cookies, but no online service is completely secure. StackMaker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
